City Networks grew out of the desire to help other cities start or grow a collaborative based church planting network the way we saw it happen in Houston through HCPN.
Meet Chad
Chad Clarkson is the co-founder and now serves as the Executive Director of the Houston Church Planting Network. After being involved in planting churches in Iowa and South Carolina he moved to Houston where he served for ten years as the Pastor of Church Planting and Missions at Clear Creek Community Church. He has been involved in global and local church planting work for almost 25 years and has a passion to see the church unify around the mission of God.
Meet Matt
Matt Lee currently serves as the Director of Residencies at Houston Church Planting Network. In the past 26 years, he has helped to plant five churches, two as the lead planter, served as the Director of Church Planting Programs at Fuller Seminary and as the National Church Planting Director for the ECO denomination. Having taught church planting classes at Fuller, John Leland, and Gordon-Conwell Seminary, his passion is to strengthen and train church planters throughout the Houston area. He attended the University of Virginia, Gordon-Conwell Seminary, and received his Ph.D. from Biola University.
